Hey guys I’ve been working on a new chicken coop (room) and its finaly done! My Mom calls it the “Chicken Palace”. It is a 12×8 insulated room. I helped my Dad paint. We had a nice friend build the dividing wall and all of the trim, vent, and doors. It turned out really nice. I look forward to keeping it clean. I think it will be easier to clean than my old tiny coop. 😃 Here are pictures of the first night. I hand moved all 20 hens and one rooster to the new accomodations. I had to put them in the coop because it was sooooo cold. It is supposed to freeze tonight. Some of my chickens were still in summer moveable pens and the wind has been gusting more than 30 mph today. Tonight the barn was cold, so it’s a win win. Chickens are natural heaters so the barn is warmer already!
