This is A.J.’s Mom.  A.J. really wants to go back to school. We had to removed him in March of last year due to a new self harming behavior of Eloping.  He was so stressed from changes at school that any little bump in the road caused the flight response and he actually took off into the desert while at a non school related event.  I was really worried that whatever was causing this stress at school, could cause him to elope and get hit on 395 as it is only 2 blocks from the school.

He really likes being with the kids his age and loves to play sports.  As a Mom it is my job to keep him safe and in an environment that is healthy and safe with people who understand his needs and challenges.  As a blog follower, you all know that A.J. is a smart, funny, and wonderful young man.  He just learns a little differently and needs a few extra things to make a public education accessible for him. Attached is the letter sent to school to address what is causing anxiety issues and not allowing A.J. to access his education.
